Archived TIL: many newer cars with a tire pressure indicator also check the spare tire and the light will not turn off unless the spare is also at full pressure. (TIL)

Just thought I would pass on some info that I had to learn the hard way.

My car is weird. It didn't come with a spare; instead, it came with a tire repair kit and there's a portable air compressor under the drivers seat.

It's a Fiat, I'll just carry it to a gas station.

Kias do this now. Some come with a can of fix a flat attached to a compressor. I think the Cruze eco does too.

I've seen that too. I've made a mental note to demand a full size tire if I ever buy a new car again.
If it's a car it might be bouncing around the trunk because many aren't designed to fit a full size
