I worked in Journalism decades ago. This is the main source of their news.

Scary, I know. One of the reasons I left that industry.

Have to wonder how bad it's gotten since then. 'Decades ago' sounds like it was before the dot com effect slaughtered the budgets for independent journalism.

I worked there when Princess Diana died and I remember being bothered by how much attention they gave to her

They also had a short (15-30 sec) piece on Bin Laden but they all they said was he could 'pose a problem for America' but they didn't want to ruin the feel good about yourself vibe they wanted to give on the news

Subsidiary news companies do churn out the narrative and talking points of their financial overlords. Good term.

There was the old cynical term about stock brokers "Churn em & burn em", meaning to do a lot of transactions, simply to generate commissions.

I like that. Apt.

So they don't have to go to those talking-point seminars anymore? Good. Their champagne bills were getting out of hand.

That's a boring word. Try this one: Callipygian. It means, "having a well-shaped buttocks."

Callipygian is an old word. Boring or not, ‘churnalism’ is a new word.

I presumed you meant that the word was new to you, not objectively new.

Still, my word is better.

No research huh? Perfect for fake news.

Ugh, that's not a word, that's a Jew tactic that they gave a snappy name to make it seem like something useful.
