As stated, it sounds as if it's saying "What a humble guy, this Stalin! Such a good chap, wouldn't even let 'the people' name monuments and achievements after him!"
I'm all about learning new things, but we need to remember the magnitude of suffering associated with the name "Stalin." The millions starved. The culture squashed. The promising country that suffers to this day under the memory of his iron fist.
Stalin is one whose memory should always be evoked with context.
edit: I stand by every fucking thing in this post, and want it known that Voat is downvoating me for it.

Wow, what horse shit. You act like bloating your reply with text from my response makes you more correct. Also, it's "anything."
I don't know what you mean by "every single time his name is mentioned." At all. I mean that is baffling.
Anyway. You know where your own dick is, if you need to fuck something, this evening.

TIL you're not allowed to learn things about people who did bad stuff.

Tbh, that article was a lot of Stalin humility praising. So he's got some sorta point, somewhere. It kinda muddled off, when he couldn't come up with a valid argument and tried to insert a 'hurr durr go fuck yourself', but yeah. We know who Stalin is. But every guy has a side you don't see. Nicest guy in the hood usually turns out to be the one with 8 bodies in the freezer, and notorious dictators have some humility occasionally. Quit trying to scream into the void about what he did that is not part of the fucking topic at hand.
My original comment was intended to be more, uh, facetious, I guess, cause yeah. He issued this in like 1936 and Stalingrad was that at 1925.
