Well, it has very limited meaning. If fractals are so ubiquitous in nature you might wonder if they effect cognition in some way. But there's no way to gather data to support that hypothesis so you're right that the question is not a scientific one -- but it may have philosophic or literary value.
It was a repost from a reddit site called "Stoner Thoughts." I keep the same headline but what I liked was the Nova documentary on fractals.
