They should have a way for you to see all users versus verified buyers. I know a lot of games are reviewed and rated by people before its even released based on what they think they will feel about the game, but if someone plays the game at a friends house and then decides to leave a review, its not invalid.

I'd also like to see it sorted by play time. Slightly below average and up, significantly below average, and then the 1 hour players.

Even better would be recent activity using the above method. A lot of games like EU4 or Warframe aren't the same after a couple years.

You need a damn college course dedicated to EU4 just to fucking play it.

This also includes refunded games. For some reason that wasn't highlighted in the announcement.

Steam will no longer include user reviews in a game’s overall score if the reviewer didn’t pay for a copy | VG247

'Review scores for Steam games will only factor in those who bought the games. '

'This also means review scores for certain games will be affected, thanks to the re-calculation that is taking place. '

'Valve has introduced a couple of changes to the Steam review system this week. '

'Now, review scores will no longer include any reviews by those who received the game for free, either through a gift, promo codes, or even during a free weekend. '

'This is strictly concerning scores, everyone will still be able to write a review and it will show up on the game’s page. '
