This is great. I wonder if you can incorporate a cameo of The Hardy Boys somewehre on there. They haven't been in an episode of SP in suc a long time.

A very arcane reference also exists here, that maybe 5 people in the whole world will get. In 1981, TV Ontario in Canada actually used to have a kids' show about a handsome department store mannequin come to life. It was maybe one of the first-ever series to air on Nickelodeon, called Today's Special. This show is so obscure I doubt even Trey and Matt have heard of it. But, there's your out-of-nowhere factoid about Maplestan for the day. The more you know

I remember bits and pieces of this show (the arched doorway, the sweater vest) but probably would not have been one of those 5 people who got the reference.

Yeah. DC1 and I were talking about whether South Park had ever done a Trudeau parody. Apparently they haven't, because he's not that well known in the 'States other than a relatively obscure meme about being a hot world leader. I started thinking about such a skit after the Castro eulogy, and thought it fits in well with this season's current theme of nostalgia, the presidential election, and the whole trolling thing.
