Not really. He abandoned the idea of Rome expanding and generally didn't give a shit about anything outside Rome.

You do realize overexpansion (as well as the conversion to cuckstianity) was the primary cause of its downfall, right? When an empire becomes too large it no longer can supply the infrastructure necessary to secure its borders or people from invaders

example: literally every empire in history including the one we are living in now

You have a point, but I'm just saying Julius Caesar would have disagreed. The Romans were getting soft and had stopped burning millions of Gauls and he would point to this as a flaw.
