I've had quite a few PMs accusing/asking me if I'm the Voat angel.

And, there's tons of stuff in our archives now. I bet there's quite a few hours worth. Shit, you could regularly share some of your favorites from the archives, even if we're all active in the thread. 'Snot like anyone can fire you!

I still have stuff here that needs to get into the archives. I try it remember to share some, if I've not already shared a bunch.

One of these weeks, I'll have to do another showing off thread. Either way, I'll try to always make sure I've got something new for you to share on those weeks. Worst case, it'll be something quick and dirty like last week. Amusingly enough, nobody asked. It was faded out abruptly and awkwardly 'cause that ended when I fucked up. ;-)

Also, EH has changed all the settings in Audacity. She didn't do last week's recording and mixing for me. I had a hell of a time figuring it out. All the defaults are different. It doesn't even look the same. She's added plugins and really screwed with it.

Oh! Hah!

Last week, @clamhurt_legbeard mentioned he used Vocaroo because it didn't like the extension/file type at Instaud.io. If you are REALLY hell bent on resolving that, I have a solution!

Install Audacity. Open the file with Audacity. Top left menu button, export as MP3. Then, you can upload it to an Instaudio account named VoatArchives, or whatever.

However, that's way more effort than anyone wants to do. But, if you're hellbent on archiving, that's probably the path of least resistance. It's quick and easy. You just export it as mp3 and don't bother even saving the project. It takes a little while to save it as the new file type, but it's fairly speedy on my systems. I do that for nadeshda sometimes.

I usually just use Audacity. Though I don't usually record with a phone. I wonder if there's a mobile version of it?

I just took a look and vocaroo itself allows you to download the file as an mp3. So I guess all I have to do will be create the instaudio account and upload it there. Even simpler.

Oh! Ha! I forgot they had that ability! LOL

Funny enough, I used to tell people they could download it in a variety of formats!

I believe we were talking about my attics holes and people moving stuff around and hiding it!
