I will put my feelers out on Monday, or Tuesday. Monday I have an appointment. I'll find one and buy it. I'll post pics. I've not done a car pic dump in a long while. I'm a driving enthusiast and own a variety of vehicles, but they're not the kinds of things most people think of as collectables.

This will be as close to a trailer queen as I own. It'll just be for parades and maybe a few shows. I pretty much drive everything else.

The most exotic thing I own is just an '82 911 in Targa trim. I own a pair of Saab 900S turbo. I have a '72 Dart, which is as close to an old muscle car as I go. I have a '73 Jeep Wagoneer, complete with the Borg Warner transmission with the PTO, so it can hook up to equipment like a bandsaw or woodsplitter. My daily driver is just a modern 650i. Etc...

It's nothing fancy, just fun shit to drive. I take them to car shows, when I have time. The Saabs are stripped and set to rally. One has a blown engine, but I have a replacement. I kinda gave up on my desire to rally legally. I am considering setting the 650i up to rally, and just replace it with something newer. It's a 2014, so it's getting old.

It's restored and in good shape. The mileage sucks, but it could be driven across the country.

I've got a barn that's temperature controlled and have 20 something vehicles in it. It's not really a huge collection.

I'm the guy that has a lift in one of the garage bays and a collection of tools. I use them. I like to do a lot of the easy stuff myself. I'll do a head gasket, but I'm not going to remove an engine and rebuild it. I don't really have the time and it's easier to just send it out.

I've spent a lot of time driving, so I've come to appreciate it. The roads are actually one of the reasons I retired here. I'm in the mountains of Maine. I love the challenges. We have a number of private roads. We get wild weather. It's fantastic.
