I considered Tahoe or up in the pass, but this parcel of land came up for auction and I was able to buy the first piece of property that was adjacent to it.

I don't quite get those snow totals. In a season, the most I've had was just a little over 21'. That's total accumulation per season. In one storm, I've had 52" and that was fucking awesome. The drifts were, no kidding, 20' high - or higher. I could walk up onto my roof!

Even our grocery store has snowmobile parking. It's sometimes easier, faster, or safer to just take a snowmobile. In my case, my helmet plugs into my suit and my suit plugs into my snowmobile. I love me some heated suits and helmets.

None of those snowmobiles are mine. I'm not sure what the one obscured by one in front is. It's got an extended track, so my guess is that it's fast.

Damned right! If you're in the market, I'd suggest getting one that has fully variable temps and a battery pack. It works when you get off the snowmobile and you can plug it right into the snowmobile when you're riding. You'll want the fully adjustable thermostat, because they actually can make it too hot and it sucks once you start sweating. Your helmet can then just plug into your suit, so you're good to go.
