So long as you're taking it from someone who's not going to mind a few ears going missing, I don't think too many people will complain - unless you get caught. If you're taking it out of some guy's personal garden, that's probably a bad thing to do.
Though, I suppose if you really were hungry, it'd probably be ethical to take food from that guy's garden - so long as you only took what you needed to survive and, well, so long as they weren't going to go hungry because of it.
Hmm... Corn stealing... It's a complicated moral dilemma!
