You need a 3/16" diamond drill bit. GO SLOW.

Forget the screws and just epoxy the boxes in place. You can find the right grade of epoxy in Kevdude's dildo drawer.

Before you mark your spot, put a piece of blue painters tape over the area where you are going to drill. Then mark your support Andrew. The tape will keep the edges from splintering. You will definitely need a diamond tipped blade as the gentleman said before

I don't know what this means exactly, but I assume you just meant to mark the spot.

I do not know why it wrote support Andrew. I was dictating using Siri. What I meant is after you put your blue tape down, then mark your spot

I was thinking oil, too. I have a can of cutting oil that would stick better. I just haven't seen any backup of that... Everything I found online says water.
