The nationalism wasn't strung from nowhere. Germany was subjected to hell post WWI. They needed a rebirth then just as they do now, just as all of Europe does now.

I fear however it may not come this time around.

You think so? It's not as easy as before. It's not just about overthrowing a treasonous government, they also have to deal with the imported invaders they brought over and a global media that will demonize their every action.

Germany's problems are from its embrace of socialism whether it be the garden variety now or the national kind back in the 30s and 40s

Germany has so much to be proud of. Sure. they have things to condemn, but they also have a great history that is longer then the decade of treason.
