If you're into podcasts you may like the No Agenda Show.

They deconstruct how things are reported; which inherently tells you anout the stories themselves.

Its not that you get the complete story from them either; but they are one of the many places I go to find out WTF is going on in the world.

i'll have to check that out, i'm always looking for unbiased reporting. Been really learning how the media manipulates a new report the past few years. This sounds like it will be a great resource for that.

The one thing I like about VOAT is that it is mostly text. I hate having to watch an interesting video when I can read the same info twice or three times as fast as the video presents it. The same goes for pod casts.

Isn't it sad? I can't believe its come to this. I first got a taste of the internet in the golden age of 1992. My family had AOL which was terrible, a sanitized safe little prison for your mind. Within a very short span I figured out how to escape onto the real web and it was so glorious. Free speech, the collected knowledge of the world, a million billion topics of interest quite literally at your fingertips. Now most of the internet is like AOHell. Voat is a shining beacon of light in an increasingly dark digital world. The only question I have is what is the contingency plan if Voat just ceased to exist one day?

hindu_dindu, I first got online with AOL about same time. What kept the internet so great at first was the cost of computers. I had a colleague build me one, a Pentium clone with 1.2G WD HDD and US Robotics 28.8, then went up to 56K modem as they came available at lower price. That rig cost $1,300 in early 90's. The internet was a whole lot better without broke ass welfare mooches on it.

I had to have a second phone line installed, just for the computer. Then used another ISP and logged onto AOL. You couldn't get online without doing that because all of AOL's servers were busy. And you might get "punted offline" with an IM (haha we all had those punters). Some troll annoying you? Send IM - punted offline - see ya tomorrow asshole! You'd be gone for the night if that happened without your own access ISP. Spent $50/month in total to get online with 56K. Friend would come over and use the other phone line and we'd troll-team "other assholes" such as ourselves. Multiple screen names plus sign on and off quickly = successtroll every time.

Yep. Exactly. Obamaphones ruined the internet by giving internet access to screeching commies for the first time. I remember telling my dad we needed an LCD monitor circa 1995 and it cost $1500, our well spec'd pc was another $1500. Try that on welfare...

I remember the original version of AOL! They sent disks that gave you so many hour's of free time. I got those for years! I switched to Yahoo when it was new and felt like a rebel for using this free email and awesome search engine! Lol I would go to online chat rooms about sewing and troll people before I even knew what it was. Hell I went on my first real date with a girl that I met in a chat room. You just gave me a blast from the past. It was a Golden age. I feel like I've been eating member berries.

Minds, Gab and the Chans would be my next go to places. Does Putt have any backup accounts for us to regroup at anywhere if things go South?

Not all the chans, sadly 4chan was infiltrated by ShareBlue and SJWs awhile ago, the /pol you hear about is a tiny corner in that board, and if you go out of that corner, there are SJWs everywhere there.

Lol. If you think voat has free speech, you must be at least mildly retarded.

That's because the Left have won the Cultural War over the last 50 years. They control the narrative.

Social Media was used successfully by the Right during the 2016 election, but that appears to have been just a vanguard action, and it's now being brought to heel via censorship.

The SJW / politically correct feministas have never won an argument in their lives. They are utterly illogical and wrong. But they have (((support))), and are controlling the narrative of the Left, and increasingly of the Western governments. God Fucking Help Us All.

Insert a sentence with a disparaging adjective, ethnic slur, and then some kind of unpleasant action here.
