You do realize the Y2K bug was real? The only reason there was no fall out was that a shit ton of work went on behind the scenes to fix it before it fucked your day.

There wasn't no fallout, actually. There were a few minor failures that were apparently due to the bug.
There were actually some problems that surfaced with some computers back in 1969. Seems a lot of banks write 30 year mortgages. I don't see that in the list on Wikipedia though.

Yes i was in a very large data center for a global company. A company with literally thousands of servers under that single roof. And then there was the mainframe. And it was worked on for a long time. You do not have the slightest idea wtf youre talking about. Go back to the geek squad. You can see others in this thread w the same experience. Just shut the fuck up.
