I'm inclined to agree with you if you can explain what standing in the gap means.

If you watch this video, fan made with highlights from Trump rallies, you will hear a pastor who explains it better than I can. A lot of voat is not going to like this video because it features black people that support Trump and shows that there are intelligent black Americans that want to better their lives. I hope they don't downvoat me for showing the truth. As I've said before I'll call anyone a nigger if they are being a nigger. But just like not all white people are rednecks, not all black people are niggers and I've known plenty of white niggers. Antifa chick that got decked in Berkeley? Nigger white thug.

Anyway, I hope you take the time to watch the video. It's full of hope and encouragement.

It's not that I don't agree with you. I do. I just don't forsee this whole thing ending well. What trump wants and what he promises is too damning to the millions of scumbags who rely on being pieces of shit to get ahead and being carried through life. There's a LOT of them. We do need divine intervention. Maybe this will all pan out and I'm worrying over nothing.

Standing in the gap = being the middle man, the person that isn't corrrupt to the core and is doing the work to repair the relationship between God and the people.

Have you noticed POTUS has been very openly Christian? He expressly says stuff during his rallies about God, and always ends with God Bless America. Trump knows how damaged God has been, especially to the younger generations. Those that don't believe in something will fall for anything and that's how you get recruited ISIS, Communists, etc.
