Isn't there a "law" that says you eventually attract extremists with communities like that?

I just look at it like /r/cringe or any of those other "LOLLOOKATTHSIFAGGOT" subs where people just sit around making fun of other people. It's childish and counter-productive but who am I to say they can't do it.

Yeah, all the time, sadly. It's mostly miserable people like 21$ Fast food managers or hateful-towards-life IT Techs. I guarantee you if they went on more trips, had more friends to drink with and had a girlfriend, they wouldn't be on those subs. It's what leading a cooked up anti-social lifestyle does to you. You project your hate on the internet and you alienate yourself from the rest of society because it's way easier to find an echo circle jerk chamber here.

The anonymity helps too. Here you can say whatever you want and no matter how ass-brained or hateful it is, as long as you're careful not to expose who you really are, nobody can ever really do shit about it. That's the funniest part of the whole thing. A lot of these people would never have the courage to say these things to anyone's face. These are the shitty kids in high school who sat around gossiping all day who just never grew up.
