you just go out for a walk 1 hour a day, 3 times a week, for a year

Make it about 30-40 mins 4-5 times a week and that's basically owning a dog and not being a dick owner (eg: walking him). Add on a regular 1 hour 3/week workout, eating salad, steaks, and veggies instead of McBeetus and that's all it takes to be in great shape. Nothing very strenuous at all.
