Notably absent:

The deletion for "soapboxing" that wasn't against the rules.

The fact that rule 1 wasn't actually clear English, and could have easily not been about the actual question mark.

It was not a stretch for that post to be classed as soapboxing. I agree it was borderline, and given it's subject (It was a community-oriented meta post about moderator guidelines) should have been handled with more care.

You previously instructed me to not link to a longer post, but instead deleted it, and told me to post the entire document in the text field for the purposes of discussion.


... which makes any argumentation on this point rather fruitless. In the end, the bitch didn't want it discussed.

If you go over to the mod and rule discussion subverse, you'll see a very open and fluid discussion about it being to also curtail soapboxing. So don't tell people what the rules "were" or "were not" when the discussions about what they were are entirely fucking public.
