And my opinion of this is characterized by everyone, including Atko's, response: "Oh noes! The mods are enforcing the rules! WE MUST PUT A STOP TO THIS BY DOWNVOTING EVERYONE WHO THINKS CHARACTER ASSASSINATION IS WRONG!"

Or maybe the rules shouldn't be used as an excuse to censor discussion? Your theoryofreddit membership is showing buddy.

Are they? Also, mockery is against our rules, and note you are on /seriousdiscussion, but since I'm in this discussion I'm not acting as moderator. We call that "ethics".

Rules that are openly discussed, and openly agreed upon, are not being used to "censor" discussion. They're being used to ensure a base level of quality in that discussion. If you don't like rules governing the quality and type of discussion allowed, then go to a *chan anonymous board. Look at the quality of conversation on "Random" boards, and tell me you want that on a forum like Voat.

Yes I agree, I imagine she is a feminist (she has posted to female-positive discussions) but that's her business and isn't a bad thing after all. SJWs want to use the term libertarian on certain parts of Reddit, should we madly rush after libertarians?

As to the ?-gate (it shall be a -gate, as is tradition) its a sign of rules that should have been stickied for a bit to the subverse? I don't even know if it was to be honest, I wasn't there and simply noticed it and spoke of the attack on she under conditionals.

?-gate is a pretty questionable name to use here; I'm more partial to "The Questioning".
