Background info:
What I did and how.
Since about February, I started eating pumpkin seeds and having 2-3 cups of whole milk nearly daily. I dwindled off in between. In spite of that, I felt my hair grow stronger. I think the volume increased somewhat as well, but I'm not sure. There was significantly less hair loss. Ugh. It improved immensely.
I had been massaging coconut oil into my hair and rinsing it out the next day about twice a week.
Since about mid-May, I started applying this mixture to my scalp at least twice or thrice a week, leaving it on overnight, and washing it out the next morning (Selsun blue). I would massage it into my scalp quite vigorously, extra attention to the baldy spots.
- 100 drops peppermint oil (hair growth)
- 50 drops rosemary oil (hair growth)
- 50 drops tea tree oil (dandruff)
- mix into about 1/3 or 1/4 cup of a carrier oil, like sunflower, almond, or coconut (beware CO's low melting point and drainage issues. I haven't had problems, but heads up anyways).
- for increased absorption, you can try warming up the oil before applying. feelsgoodman,2.
- to avoid getting your pillows dirtay-dirtay, you can try putting a towel over your pillow or wearing a shower/nightie cap.
Results so far.
SO MANY NEW BABY HAIRS!!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOOOOO MANY MY FRIENDS AND THIS MAKES ME SO SOS SOSOSOSOSOOOOOO HAPPY
:D
At first, it looked like the baldy spots weren't getting new hairs. The baby hairs surrounded the baldies... Would still be okay because eventually, I could cover up. But I think there is some growth there. Slowly but surely.
Either way, I'm overall very pleased. My hair feels SO MUCH thicker and stronger.
EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT BALDING OR LOSING HAIR: I highly, highly recommend you include regular consumption of nuts/seeds, scalp massages, and topical oil applications/rinses, along with a varied, healthy diet -- as a preventative measure against hair problems.

Hah, yeah, coco o. is fun for its versatility. You probably found it really softens your hair.
Those pumpkin seeds are great, very filling (: I wonder if many nuts/seeds have similar effects... As far as hair growth, you'll probably find the link about pumpkin seed oil to be quicker. This and the ppmt/rsmry oils, I am convinced, got my hair from thin to thick!!!
I love the smell of argon, but yeah, it's usually mixed with perfumes... I try food grade of anything when I can.
Ooh, haven't heard of this. I'll take a look! Thanks.
My pleasure, and you are most welcome (: If you decide to include anything from that link, let us know how it turns out!
