OK! So, there isn't officially a "dynamic lifestyle" that I know of, but some research leads me to think it's good for most people. SamBone's comment reminded me about it:
Some supporting research indicates there is a continuum between habit and addiction. Habits do offer comfort and are better for some people, but it could become an addiction or be something that allows you to stay in your comfort zone too much.
Repetitive behaviors can also appear as cardinal symptoms in a broad range of neurological and neuropsychiatric illness and in addictive states.
Habits = mental construct involving features of automaticity, such as lack of awareness, difficulty to control and mental efficiency.
I know you mentioned possibly being an undiagnosed schizophrenic. More routines might be better for you because they are a source of comfort and can reduce stress (I know I need regularity in my life). Just leave enough room to shake things up a little everyday. Thoughts?
