Verizon fios is a scam
I bought a dvr used for $30
I tried to install it and Verizon said I would have to deactivate it then reactivate it on my account. I was moved to billing, and billing couldn't do it so sent me back to tech support. Tech support said that I had to send the box back and get my money back, because they couldn't deactivate and reactivate it. I asked them if the seller deactivated it could they reactivate it? They said no. I asked them why? The tech said they could only activate boxes that I bought or rented from Verizon. Well you can't buy a box from Verizon you can only rent. Isn't that illegal?

Something tells me the DVR was never turned in on an account that never paid and they are trying not to tell you that.
