The first thing you need to do to play is to make a post claiming your godhood.
Make sure to put [Claim] in the post title, followed by your god's name.
The body of the post should then contain your god's domain. In this, think of greek mythology; there was a god of the sea, dead, love, war, etc. You can be as specific or broad with your domain as you like. This does not limit your actions, but should be a good guide line. (e.g. if you are a god of the sea, you are not forbidden to come onto land or start a tribe in the desert, but you may want to try to stick with the 'sea' theme as much as possible - like buildings made of coral.) Your first post can include a bit of fluff about your god if you like, but claiming a domain is all that needs to be said. As a god you get to choose 3 specialties.
When choosing a God think about how you want to shape the Universe. Create a Universe in your Image. It's a good idea to choose domains that are a personal passion to you. The domains of a god is center in achieving their vision.
