The Grand Occulus of Barad-dûr had seen the Ravager in all its gory glory. The Deva saw the blood of innocents on its claws. The Deva?
They became pissed.
Weapons were made. Lances with ten foot long handles banded with iron and two foot long heads, to pierce its hide. Longbows with great draw strength and steel-jacketed arrows, to stab it through the heart. A veritable army of a hundred Deva warriors went into the Underlands with a priest and a complement of guides to find the Ravager, and send it back to its maker.

[m] Aye. Hunting party hunting party, party up a hunt.
Though, the 'occulus' and scrying bit isn't canon yet and the vote's currently tied on it I think, so consider not leaning heavily on it until that's resolved. Doesn't especially matter here, I think they may learn of the Ravager by some means or other even without a tower.

Eeh, we can retcon in a "survivor" bit if it don't pass.

[m] Like I said, doesn't especially matter for this particular case, provided you're aware of it.
