I was just writing about earthquakes now, but not the Djinn. This is why having a worldmap, even a rough draft, would be helpful. Are the Med'Ja affected by the Djinn on another continent 3000 miles away with an ocean in between? I don't know where the tree of life is in relation to the Forest of Brotherhood. I thought the winds were only sent to the Holnareem encampment.
Different winds. Umbralocht sent the flesh winds to the camp. The djinn is made from 3 guardians, one of wind, water and earth and when they awaken the world goes haywire. The oceans are the exception because tempest calmed them himself
I'll just have to claim ignorance because I haven't gotten to reading everything that happened so far. But so far I've written mostly about ocean adventures, and you said those are calm?

Ok I didn't realize the Djinn's affected stuff globally, I'll write that into what I am doing.
Edit: On a reread of that post, yes, a bunch of stuff happened when the Djinn woke, but then they merged into one being and I assumed that stopped all the eruptions, quakes, tornadoes, etc. Can we get a ruling on just what is happening with the Djinn? @singingoncloudnine
