Phyra (@oveass), Umbralocht (@bobusdoleus) you have been summoned to hear our verdict in the dispute.
We have reviewed the cases brought forth and have come to carry out Justice. So shall it be.
Umbralocht, you have taken action that is within your powers, and domain. You have seeded discord among a people who are created in the image of Order. Though this greatly displeases the Phyra, we do not find this action to be unjust. It is certainly unlawful given the codes of the Schryke, but you are not bound by these laws. However, you are not held blameless. This was an act of provocation, and as such, we will not remove the curse placed upon the Fleshchanged, entirely. Some penance will be paid. Instead, the Curse of Mirrors shall be collected into one Fleshchanged, and one alone. This "Pape" shall be the only being that has the revelation of the Curse, and shall act as a Giver and Receiver of the knowledge gained. They will be held up among the Fleshchanged as most honorable and will protected. The Pape in old age will choose a new successor to carry the heavy burden. The Pape may share the knowledge, or keep it hidden, as they choose. Lastly, it will be known among all the Fleshchanged that a terrible Curse will be set loose upon the Fleshchanged, if the Pape be killed. If a Fleshchanged kills the Pape, the Curse shall be reinstated in full, on all the beings of the race.
Phyra, you have have taken action that is lawful to your Order, but cruel. We will not support this, nor punish you directly. You love your Schrykes so much you were willing to do evil to protect them. We see this as sincere, but must pass judgement unto your creations that will serve as a reminder. Your Schrykes will hold a celebration. It will occur on random intervals as the God of Chance (@aerotes_forgehammer) sees fit. This celebration will last one cycle of the First Moon. The celebration will be act of reverie, and transformation will be a central theme ([m] think Mardi Gras + Halloween + Burning Man. Costumes, debauchery and fetish will reign and each will throw themselves in fully, as the dedication of the Schryke is well known. The story of when the God of Law acted against another will be told, but the celebration will be inherently hedonistic, not one of moralism and critique.
Lastly, to guard the Fleshchanged Pape, there will be six among the Schryke to take up this mantle. It will be considered a great honor, and will serve as a bridge between the two, and an open door to good relations.
This is our judgement. We have been deeply honored to serve.
EDIT: [m] Some have asked about the authority of Exos, Termos, and Libos. These Gods were summoned by others in order to pass judgement. The authority was gifted before the judgement was passed.

Nope they will shut down until they lose their reason to oppose and fight each other. This was a point of much contention bewteen you and in the end it was agreed upon by you and Umbralocht that Fleshchanged would never fight or kill each other

As a fellow member, then, let me ask of you a boon. Bless my Fleshchanged, my changelings, with a gift of uncertainty, that never shall their identities be discovered, not by others and not even by themselves, as anything other than what they appear to be, until it is time for them to manifest their terrible obsessions in the times of the stifling peace.

Let it be so. Upon their forms shall they wear an aura of Uncertainty. Those who seek to mistrust them, shall forget the basis of their qualms, but those who seek to trust them shall suffer the same mistrust. Let none who know them, even those who seek to join them, harbor certainty. In this way shall your creations struggle more so than any other of the realms creatures to find belonging, and, in doing so, grow either more appreciative of or more frustrated by their fellows.
But.
This aura works as the poles of a magnet. Those who grow bitter and wild, torn down by their lack of trust and understanding, shall unconsciously seek those who build strong ties, and those who build strong ties will be drawn to great battle with beasts they know not to be their own true kind. Let also your creations who walk upon Gaea that share a constitution be repelled by one another, and, if forced together, let them struggle to maintain their aura as it fluctuates between each being, so that they forever struggle at the crossroads betwixt these polarities. Separate or together, your creatures shall generate strife as no creature to ever walk the realm, and they shall do so without understanding.

A strange blessing. It abhorrs extremes. In many ways, it is no blessing at all. My creatures must seek trust and greater trust; Else, how will they be the leaders and heroes that a land in trouble will need? And how will they gain families and friends to later devour, if the test is failed. This blessing... it will not lead to a better testing.
One aspect strikes me as most useful, however: That they should never meet another of their ilk. If you enchant their paths such that they never cross, and so spread evenly, then I will be grateful.

What is a great hero who does not face great strife but merely lucky? Though they will struggle to gain favor, they will also struggle to gain mistrust, and so will ascend the ranks, and those that do reach the peak of affection or hatred will exist there indefinitely without great struggle. Your creatures will be as legends, both great and terrifying, and their legends will be made of glorious and monstrous acts, as opposed to simple happenstance.

This different phrasing speaks to me, it does...
Ah, why does it always need to be all or nothing with you, Cruxius? Must everyone be uncertain about everything, always? Will not just some uncertainty be enough for you? A cloak of obfuscated identity? To guard against targeted destruction by the God of Order, if nothing else?
Ah, but who am I to blame a river for being wet.
Perhaps there is merit in your strange blessing. The winds will confer, and think, and ponder, for a time.

It is my way dear brother, as it is yours to seek to change it. Their identities are quite secure, and no mortal who gazes upon them will have any reason to believe them anything but what they appear to be, such is the gift of uncertainty. They may feel...odd but they will appear as an exact replication of their host species, and no amount of investigation, short of heroic effort, shall break that. When beings should be certain the Fleshchanged are not whom they claim, they will be misdirected, as I have promised.

A final word, then. Revoke, if you would, the part of your blessing of the Fleshchanged running into each other to do battle. This conflict, it would be entirely artificial. Incestuous. They are seeded across the lands to sow or mend disturbance, to drive the races they join to survival and improvement, away from the shackles of complacency or oblivion. But their boons and banes must be true: The monsters I make, must be slain by real heroes, of the races, not by mine mockeries - they exist to cause these heroes to exist. The heroes I make, must do battle with real forces, not manufactured pageants.
if they should collide naturally as events force it, well, that is the way of things. But leave fate out of it. Far better that my creatures never meet, that they may spread evenly throughout the world.

Let it be then that your heroes seek monsters and your monsters, heroes, as all heroes and monsters are wont to do, without artificial interference. This is agreeable.
