The mortifi are such hardy beasts. But that strength shall be their weakness. Their hides will make excellent leather armour. Many hunters will seek them out for their hide. Their poison to, shall have many production benefits.

Interestingly since only evil empires will be able to breed them this is less of a curse and more a stat boost for my worshippers.

I created predators out of necessity, not to plague the inhabitants of Ebos. That being said, I will not stifle the creations of other Gods, but I will limit the mortal races exposure to the Mortifi. Their tendency to kill herd animals for sport and kill the plantlife of the very ecosystems which support them will negate the very purpose of the predators, which was to keep populations in control, not to wipe them out completely. Therefore, the Mortifi will be a rare species, existing farthest from civilized societies where beasts of their size may flourish. Sightings of Mortifi in cities and even small villages will be scarce, but the those traveling great distances will always worry about running into a pack of these killers.

Their rareness and toxicity will make them a target for poachers, who can harvest the venom-filled glands from its tail, the blighted mucus from its skin, and its claws for the paralysis-inducing nuerotoxic properties.

Aye, I will bless these creations.

The venom glands in their tails, mucus membranes in their skin, and nuerotoxic properties of their claws, along with their generally heinous reputation, will make them a prized trophy for poachers and hunters.
Their venoms, toxins and poisons can be used to make other trade goods.
Adept at close range combat up to 10ft radius due to their size (+50% increase damage in close range combat attack based on their various toxic capabilities), but vulnerable to distance attacks (+50% increased success against the Mortifi from attacks further than 10ft away)
