I work with PTSD patients. There is a difference between pre-conditioning, learned behaviors and catastrophic trauma. If the chicks continue to function without showing signs of a spiraling stress cycle or other clearly defined PTSD indicators (as you note in the above example), they don't have PTSD. Experiences that cause PTSD are well defined. You can't experience stuck points if you've never had the experience. I don't doubt that you can be genetically pre-dispositioned towards stress, and that historic events can leave markers. But it's not PTSD.
These people are using the term because they think it's cool to have PTSD. Thus my hatred for them.

You can, its just, slaves come from every race... Some people use it as an excuse others use their history as a tool. They, the ones who would use epigenetics as an excuse, see laziness and deceit as a tool. Epigenetics though.
