We teach women to repress their sexuality and encourage men to express it and yet people are shocked by the outcome. Yes, women feel wronged and men feel blameless. Is this still a shock to people?

I can't remember the last time it was a fad for 15 year old boys to wear booty shorts that say "juicy" on them so I have no idea wtf you are talking about. In fact, I'd go as far as to say you have no idea wtf you're talking about.

Sagging is literally the only fad that I can think of that relates to male sexuality and fashion.

So you're saying I'm ignorant because fashion trends for young women are "sexy" and this somehow disproves the idea that we teach women to repress their sexuality. You might be a bit younger than me so I understand that you might not have the full perspective.

Gogo dresses were popular in the 1970's. As you might have heard in a history class, this was a time of sexual revolution by women. This started as early as the 1960's and extended to sometime in the 1980's but came about because of the traditional roles that women wanted to shed. They purposefully wore revealing clothes to show that they didn't have to adhere to the religious morals of society. In simpler words, they over corrected the problem.

That should clear up the, "[I] have no idea wtf [I'm] talking about," section of your post.

As for the, "[you] have no idea wtf [I'm] talking about," part:

I'm saying this is a non-issue all together. As usual, everyone is having natural reactions to their circumstances and surroundings. If people expected something different to happen then they failed to properly assess the situation.

We teach women to repress their sexuality

no we dont. actions speak far louder than words. we may say one thing on paper or in certian social circles, but all women know that all they have to do is flirt a little or show some leg and their lives are easier.

Well, I live in Logic, OL which is pretty close to Historic Examples, OL so it's pretty great. I can't speak for everyone in the OL, but I didn't see anything on the news to suggest they aren't having as perfect a day as me.

On a more serious note, are you aware that places in Europe and South America don't seem to have these issues? The women stroll along nude beaches and surprise, men aren't running around with boners humping everything in sight. America was the original Safe Place for religious zealots though so we don't have any of that normal behavior.
