First, I'd suggest to drink more water.

Second, Gatorade after a run ... especially if you cramp up.

Third, try to massage the area. I use a lacrosse ball, put it on the ground and try to massage the area. (You can use whatever you want massage stock, tennis ball, baseball, etc)

I'll make sure to grab some Gatorade and massage it for an hour again.
