I wanted to give a status update as to where the app is at.
Last week we beta tested the minimalistic version of the app (1.0) with about 20 beta testers. After squashing some bugs and adding some minor features over about 6 betas, I decided it was ready for mass consumption and submitted 1.0 to Apple for approval on August 7. Shortly after submission I began working on the next version of the app (1.1) with some sweeping changes and a host of new features. I sent out the first beta for version 1.1 and all looked well thus far.
Today, August 13, I received notice that the app was unceremoniously rejected. The rejection letter is shown at the bottom of this post. Next steps I'll have to go through the feedback and see what, if anything, I can do to get the app through to the app store. So far off the top of my head, I'll likely have to create a NSFW toggle to hide objectionable material by default and create an EULA.
In light of these delays, I'm opening the beta test signup back up. If you're interested in receiving betas for the app, please PM me with your Email address and I will see what I can do. Note that you must be running iOS 8 or greater to install the app.

Furthermore, your app enables the display of user-generated content but does not have the required precautions in place.
It is necessary that you put all of the following precautions in place:
- Require that users agree to terms (EULA) and these terms must make it clear that there is no tolerance for objectionable content
- Use moderators to flag and remove inappropriate content and offensive users
- Users need a mechanism to flag objectionable content and report users generating this content
- Developer must act on objectionable content reports within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the user who provided the offending content
- Developer needs a method for ejecting users who violate the terms of the EULA
