https://voat.co/user/jaredness | Amazon Affiliate ID Tags
Attention Please and Hello @jaredness - a post has been created here with a concern that there is the appearance of spam or more specifically, you linking Amazon products with an Affiliate ID, a commercial enterprise. A lot of users appear to be enjoying your content so I wanted to reach out to you here with a friendly reminder.
Please remember that Voat is for Personal Use Only. You of course are welcome to continue sharing links that you find as the community appears to appreciate your efforts, but please refrain from including any links with any Affiliate ID or Tag as this then makes you appear to be using Voat and its users for commercial purposes.
It is important that we all comply with Voat's rules. Should you choose not to, some of the other rules here state that your account and/or your domain may be banned by the site Admins. I'm happy to provide you with some links to these, or you may find them at the bottom of every page in the FAQ and User Agreement. Please consider this to be the only caution you will likely receive.
Please let me know of your understanding by replying here or with any questions you may have; thank you.

No, there's no specific rule per se that says you cannot add your Amzn ID but in doing so, it does make you a commercial operation. The timing of your links isn't the issue it's that you are linking in a way that will potentially generate income for you, and this is what is not permitted. Here again, feel free to link any deals that you come across, but make certain that there's no sort of affiliate tag to them and you will then be perceived as a personal-use account and there won't be any issues with Voat's rules.
