There are two types of spam on Voat that can be reported here: Commercial Ad Spam and User Content Spam. Please include in the comments an archive of the Domain or the User's Submissions, it helps us ID serial spammers and is good for transparency; thanks for your help with this.
Commercial Ad Spam
anything trying to use us for commercial gains
• Posts/Comments selling supplements, dating sites, escorts, repair services, graphic art, web services, links to movies or live streams
• Domains/websites/blogs that are disguised with articles but are created to sell their goods/services
Make a Domain Link Post only using the Voat Domain for the URL found next to the title in parentheses; ignore the username. You may need to fake this link, https://voat.co/domains/SiteNameHere.com

User Content Spam
when a user links their original content site or channel to excess without posting other unrelated content
Make a User Content Post only when the content is YouTube or if a user appears to be a paid/pro spammer with five or more domains (otherwise use the Domain Link above). And let’s give new users a chance by waiting until they have 10 posts before reporting. The Voat guideline for User Content Spamming was updated to the
10/5 Rule, ten posts in total and five may be original content/self-promotion.

Note on Repetitive Posting: Spam has also been defined to address users who submit repetitive nearly identical & non-commercial posts; duplicates may be deleted but not the first submission (https://voat.co/v/politics/1544038/7615126, context https://voat.co/v/announcements/1415644)). These posts should be addressed by Janitors and Moderators of the subverse where found.
