You didn't link to a source that they're financially in bed with. Therefor its invalid. Also, you probably wouldn't be able to find one that ran that story.

I don't use reddit, haven't for over a year, just use voat.

I don't either, but this subverse is Redditinaction. This submission is appropriate here.

I still hit a few small subs and steal content because so many people can't be bothered to post here yet.

Funny I could actually program a way to scrap the front page links off reddit, and then post them to a image service that could tie in to voat automatically.

I don't think voat has an API to auto submit, but I would build that all out if they did.

Sadly that isn't possible for many small communities that haven't migrated over. I've tried to make multiple subs here for small communities I liked over there and they get no traction.

They've been using 'rehosted content' to kill posts for a while. I've seen them remove stories from wapo and nyt because it's 'rehosted content.'

Maybe it's time we start to boycot Reddit's advertizers. I don't even know who those are because of ad block. Anyone have a list.

Sometimes rehosted content (i.e. blogspam) is cancerous, other times its just a smear.

Wasn't Reddit just recently involved in that million dollar investment Clinton was putting into trying to change her "image" online for sites like Twitter/Reddit/etc?

If you think about it, after the last two years of Reddit trying to push and shove their biased fucking narrative down everyone's throats, Hillary really is the perfect candidate for them. Fucking moronic shills.

They may have been, but there was no proof offered to support that theory. Also, it wasn't Clinton herself, it was a PAC operating on her behalf, albeit one with which she admitted "coordinating" (which may or may not break campaign laws).

That's why I unsubscribe from that sub :/ My post wasn't actually violating the rule...
