Whiskey or Dimetapp were my parents favorite. Much healthier than pepsi.

Holy shit! My mom stressed the importance of drinking water only because kidney stones are so prevelant in my family she always said it was worse than child birth. She would put one of my uncles on a pedestal for being a family man and a hard worker his whole life and then say, "but he cried like a bitch passing a stone". My mother has no filter and used to be a dental assistant.

I think soda does more than that. https://youtu.be/ao8L-0nSYzg

I think a lot of todays unnatural human behavior releases vast amounts of dopamine. We become acclimated to this in much the way water tastes horrible after being acclimated to the taste of soda. I think dopamine is released when you eat and drink foods like soda, ice cream, pizza and related. But also when you do things like play video games, masturbate and so on. Ultimately you are left with a near broken 'motivation sense', dopamine being what motivates you.

I am saying definitely worth quitting soda, definitely worth quitting many things though.

For those who haven't kicked it yet... Dump the soda and have 10 teaspoons of sugar in water, same thing and possibly even healthier, without the artificial ingredients and colorants. Soda literaly feeds the fat, it's very good at its job.

I quit soda a long time ago. I just switched to water. Now I drink less than one per month. It's not really a habit.
