Yes, yes we are! My niece was a public school teacher in North Carolina. The stories that she would share with me about the horrible conditions that she had to endure in order to try to teach were shocking. And, she was a new teacher. She was just trying to get through the first 3 years to obtain her full teaching credentials. After that, she wanted to move on to either a private school or a charter school. She didn't want to teach in a public school ever again.

your neice sounds like one of the few logical teachers, good for her, because it's tough.

I was also a public school teacher, and it was pure hell because my administration knew I didn't agree with 80% of what they did. they were vicious! would never go through that again, don't care how much I need money.
