Historians agree that Jesus was born during Herod in 4BC. He was 29. PERIOD.

you stupid fuck. they DON't agree. I just looked it up. 4bc is based on Herod needing to still be alive because those historians...wait for it...RELY ON THE BIBLE STORY THAT SAYS HEROD TRIED TO KILL HIM. Well guess what, Biff? The Bible also says 33. How do you rely on part of the Bible (Herod tried to kill Jesus) while denying another part?

AND there still isn't agreement fully on the year Herod died.

There IS general agreement that Jesus birth can be narrowed down.... it was SOMEWHERE around BC 3-4 to BC 6-7. So what I remembered was totally accurate, confirmed by another look at the facts.

ANYONE else that cares to see for themselves? Its relatively easy to search. Read a FEW articles.
You WILL come away with certainty on the subject....the CERTAINTY that anyone who asserts that they have the exact year is an idiot and a blowhard.

What about the ones that say he is a parabole and never lived at all? Cult of Mythros.

The reliable Gospel eyewitness accounts aren’t the only ancient description of Jesus. There are also non-Christian descriptions of Jesus from the late 1st to 5th Century..

Thallus (52AD)

Tacitus (56-120AD)

Mara Bar-Serapion (70AD)

Phlegon (80-140AD)

Pliny the Younger (61-113AD)

Suetonius (69-140AD)

Lucian of Samosata: (115-200 A.D.)

Celsus (175AD)

Josephus (37-101AD)
