Love Trump bringing this, looking forward to next months reactions when people get their paychecks, eat your heart out Bernie, commie marxists socialists... antifa and BLM want everything for free, but will be rioting to get taxed more

Absolutely. But the morons thinking all debts and mortgages will be erased are out of touch with business reality. More examples of people wanting something for nothing.
And yes, downvote me if it helps you cope with that reality.

Will they be getting the extra money? Or will it be held due to it (((possibly))) being just a deferment.

Reset, set and match, Trump!

It's not enough. He needed to roll it back completely independent of income level. While I applaud the effort and the impact it will have, he's actually made the progressive tax system worse.

You don't seem to be grasping that you don't unroll all at once ...

Taxes only though. Months ago people were spreading false rumors it was going to be all out loan, debt and mortgage forgiveness. I’m sure the IRS isn’t pleased with this announcement as normies begin to realize the IRS is now viewed as less mandatory than they were before this announcement.

One step at a time ok?
[–] 25097220? 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
False rumors? You KNOW this how?
[–] 25099507? 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
the IRS has been forgiving back tax debt for months. I'm a lawyer. I have clients this has happened to. I was shocked - to put it mildly. Didn't think it would actually happen. Right now, it looks like at least some debt is being forgiven on taxes that were due for the years 2017 and earlier. . From my understanding on the Mortgage/loan forgiveness issue.. there are some who believe there will be a return of "overcharged" interest on mortgages, loans and credit cards. Time will tell how far this goes. I certainly don't know. But, with what I've seen lately, it just might be better than I thought.

That will get about 75% of the population voting for him. (((They)) aught to be afraid since Dems just proposed raising taxes. These people are stupid.

In his book, Crippled America, he proposes reforming the tax structure so that anyone making under $25K/yr and $50K for couples would not have to pay tax, and that taxes would be simpler for businesses, and lower overall.

Payroll taxes should be cut entirely. We don’t need to fund Democrat programs anymore. They steal our taxes to line their pockets. This memo he released is a half measure and will only give parity to the losers out there rioting.

Bit by bit, do you try to eat an entire large pizza in one bite?
[–] 25099605? 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
I bet the dems are going insane trying to figure out how to fight this without losing every election nation-wide in November. Trump has them in a corner. Love it when POTUS is on offense.
[–] 25097047? 1 point 3 points 4 points (+4|-1) ago
This payroll cut thing is a current deferment only. He would like to make this deferment permanent. Not future payroll taxes. Am I wrong?
[–] 25097717? 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
What's a payroll tax? I don't know, I'm from the UK. Is this income tax, social security?
[–] 25097972? 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago (edited ago)
Social security tax @ 6.4%
And a Medicaid Tax @ 1.45 %
The employer needs to match this tax withholding, also.
So, both employee and employer benefit.
[–] 25170128? ago (edited ago)
The payroll tax is the income tax that you owe the govt that is withheld by your employer who remits this to the govt on your behalf. So basically you pay no tax on your income. Does not affect Social Security. Self employed people don't participate in payroll tax, they pay in a different way.
[–] 25099012? 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
Does anyone know where the income tax goes? Straight into the pockets of the private FED. It is no coincidence that the permanent income tax went into effect roughly the same time the private FED was approved.

My thoughts...when the case goes to court, shouldn't the non ratification of the tax law be addressed. The fact that it was never poperly ratified should force (an honest court) to address if congress even has a legal right to tax us wothout ratification...yet they have established a president, even if it was illegitimate from the beginning. We'll see...
