Have you looked for it recently? The labeling has changed from two years ago. The brand of tonic water that I used to buy did say "contains quinine" right on the front label, but no longer does. Also, they remodeled my usual grocery store and moved it—it had been stocked next to ginger ale on the soda aisle, but now it's opposite the bear/wine with mixers where you have to go hunt for it.

Schweppes still has it listed (in the UK) as an ingredient, as do the three other own brand versions (Asda, Co-Op and Aldi) that I've looked at. The own brands taste like shit though.

Thanks. There ought to be a store that carries Schweppes around fairly close, and there's an Aldi's within ten miles. I usually pick up the Aldi's aloe water when I am out that way because even though the taste is 7 to 8 on a 10pt scale, it costs less than half compared to name brands.
