The Bible that you see nowadays is the result of a translation of a translation of a translation of a number of scripts, written by persons unknown, and rewritten many times by committees with certain biases towards controlling the population.

The simplest deductions I can make are that:

  1. there was probably a guy called variously Jeshua, Joshua, Jesus (etc.) who preached. He may or may not have been crucified but it's equally possible that a drunken patsy died in his place. If this is the case then the "Resurrection" was no miracle.

  2. There were several entities, probably extraterrestrial, who had advanced technology and were worshipped as gods. The use of the plural word "eloahim", (meaning gods), instead of "eloah" (singular = god) was no mistake. The "fiery chariot" was a flying vehicle.

In addition, if you look at the evidence such as the pyramids and polished granite "sarcophagi" (you can't cut or polish granite with copper chisels and pummice) then it's glaringly obvious that advanced technology existed, way back.

Note: this does not imply that there is no "God" creator entity. I'm a firm believer that the entire universe (and beyond) consists of conscious energy.
