The Bible is either fiction or it is the revelation of God. When I was at that point in my life where I questioned the veracity of the Bible, I told myself I would read the Gospels with an open mind.
They spoke to my heart.
Since then, I have come to believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and as originally written without error.

I'm like the White Queen in "Alice..."
Sometimes I can believe as many as six impossible things before breakfast.
However, it is an established fact that the "Bible" as it now exists, is a compilation of translations of translations of many documents found in different places and written by unknown people at different times. Also, the compilation was itself translated and modified by at least two bodies of people before its presentation in the current English form. So "written without error" is impossible, unless you are referring to the various original, untranslated handwritten scrolls. Many errors were introduced in translation; some deliberate and some accidental.

The Bible as we have it now is much more trustworthy than suggested by the above post. See webpage: https://www.christianity.com/bible/apologetics/the-trustworthiness-of-scripture.html
