The Pilgrims used the 1560 Geneva, available on Amazon. Small print.

King James Version.

The version that I prefer is the Eth Cepher. It's a recent translation that benefits from the Dead Sea Scrolls and has books and chapters restored that some people didn't want you to read, like Acts 29. It uses the different names of God instead of just saying God or Lord and doesn't Anglicize names.

It isn't cheap, unless you read online, but you can save 10% with the code CROSSING on the publisher's website. https://www.cepher.net/preface.aspx
