years ago, i worked for tilden mining. i was a liasion agent for one of their foundries in michigan.

we would occasonally get a few 55 gal drums filled w/ chopped guns.

when i say 'chopped' i mean the firearms were placed in a vice & either cut through the reciever & bolt with a chop-saw, or cut with a torch / air-arc.

int to the pot they would go after any plastic or wood furnature was removed.

edit. this was mostly for the 4140 chrome molly BBLs. anything aluminum like ARs never came that way.

Clinton sold (to other nations) and destroyed thousands of our M1 Garands, and M14s. These were treasures of American heritage. There is no way a patriot would have allowed that to happen. If nothing else, these should have been made available through CMP.

Edit: Adding this link so that people can educate themselves on M1 Garands, and M14s. If you don't know better than to think these are "shit rifles", do yourself a favor any read any of these books.
