Yes, the call was a perfect call. No one disputes that, although it is the talking point being used to distract from Powell's (typical) embarrassing and wildly wrong prediction that the transcripts would show Flynn did not discuss financial/diplomatic sanctions (a pretty good indication that Flynn also lied to Powell, who was dumb enough to believe him).

It was Flynn and Flynn alone who gave grounds for investigating the call by lying about it to Pence. Flynn lied to Pence and then Pence went on TV and repeated the lie, to Pence's great concern. It made Pence look like a liar.

Why would Flynn lie? Who knows; IMO he is just a habitual liar. But everyone else is entitled to wonder WHY a person tells a lie, especially a lie to the Vice President who repeats the lie on national TV. THAT is the source of Flynn's present troubles, and he was fired after the VP and the President saw the transcripts and understood Flynn had lied to them.

It takes a total jackass to give the Deep State Slime that sort of reason to investigate.

And do not forget, Flynn has sworn under oath he was a paid agent for Turkey while he was on Trump's campaign. At the very least, that is stupid, and if Flynn were someone else we all would correctly suspect it was worse than stupid.

Well, let's go through your post:

Yes, the call was a perfect call. No one disputes that

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/02/16/trump-no-i-didnt-tell-flynn-to-talk-about-sanctions-with-russia.html

https://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/michael-flynn-russia-sanctions-mike-pence-234899

So, it appears, that someone in the Orbit of Pence told him something like: Flynn talked about the political sensitive sanctions on Russia, he denied first and then could not remember.

Then Pence, crapping his pants for the fall out, goes high in the saddle to Trump.

Trump asked Flynn to resign and he respectfully did so.

When you listen to the Brennan Interview 2017 with Line of Fire and you compare it to Mueller not having diddly squat on Flynn, you'll understand he did not lie. To placate Flynn as an habitual lier is, based on the available information, a wrong thing to do.

Does Flynn know how to use sophistry: I guess.

But here is the thing: The moment the Trump admin started working, there was disagreement about Flynn. Not about that he supposedly was a lier, but his views were unacceptable with Pence and his orbit. It was a political move.

That is why you see Trump always having been on his side.

It takes a total jackass to give the Deep State Slime that sort of reason to investigate.

It shows how one dimensional you are thinking.

It turns out you to be not only without reason repeating lies, thus impugning a good man's name and character, you are behaving like a jackass.

In effect, you are projecting as a democrat drone while trying to assume a mantle of respectability.

And thus I clothe my naked villany With odd old ends stol'n out of holy writ, And seem a saint, when most I play the devil.

You dumbshit. You just read the transcript of two men talking about furthering world peace, and combating radical Islamic terrorism.

Yet you are still attempting mental gymnastics to try to fit this conversation to the MSM narrative that there is something nefarious, or illegal about these conversations.

Remove your head from you ass, and see these phone calls as what they are- perfectly legal.
