Sounds like a honeypot to me, let's hope all the illegals sign up and provide addresses etc. Checks hand delivered by ICE agents.

lol my thoughts exactly! Go ahead, let em provide their address, they'll get funding for a one way ticket back to where they came from.

AND....They want a federal Bail out for the state...Hmmmmm.... Right.... They can suck my goose egg...I get that they are people and they may be hurting just like the rest of us. Being here illegally has its downfalls and this would be one of them... Hence the word "illegally" or "Illegals" .... They want to play the game.. This is the cost for their decisions... Yet here again we see that crime pays in California..

CA pols just want a group of people trapped in a legal grey zone forever so they can allocate resources "to help them" that can be easily laundered to their offshore account, as well as steal, molest, bully (and worse) their kids with full knowledge that the parents can do absolutely nothing about it due to the constant threat of deportation from the overlords who encouraged them to come here.

So here's a question:
How did it happen that we have so many illegals doing essential services? I get that it's all about cheap labor, a short term 'resolution' at best. If we were not all squeezed dry by the ridiculously high cost of living, business owners hopefully would have a big picture view and could just pay workers fairly. American ones. Are illegals the only ones willing to do farm work? Really? I would think there are plenty of young people who would love to learn about sustainable farming practices. American citizens.
So now we're faced with the fact that farm owners (and others) made a fiscal decision to employ cheap labor to produce the country's food, do landscaping, etc... At some point we'll all have to deal with what it does to the food supply when said 'cheap' labor fails to survive here.
Rather than place blame on how this dependence on illegals came to be...how do we fix it?
POTUS has taken action to cut ties with China over our dependence on them for so many goods (among many other things), so surely there's something that can be implemented to get this straightened out. The stories in this article are mind boggling. Living here as an illegal for five freaking years and doing a job? That should never have been allowed. Because it HAS been allowed for so long, and we ARE talking real people here, with real children, who've been contributing in some way for actual years.
What do we do? Is it really WWG1WGA?
