The best way I have found to beat Twitter's bullshit is to use the Opera browser and their built in VPN. Idky but other VPNs haven't worked and twitter doesn't allow TOR users to create an account. You can access an already created account by using TOR, as to keep your identity protected while accessing your account, but typically anytime you use TOR or a VPN on Twitter they will lock your account. You can then add a phone number or email them to unlock it. I have run out of numbers to use so I have to email them constantly, but once you have used an account regularly for a little (on either tor or vpn) the Twitter system will identify your activity as human and will stop fuckn with you as much. That is information I have learned from my time dealing with twatter

That's very helpful. I have had 3 accounts over the last week that were locked which I was unable to access without providing a phone number, which I refuse to do.

Email them. It can actually work. I've done it a fuckn million times. Just say that you want your account back and dont want to put in your phone, or I'll sometimes say that I only have a land line(which wont work), but I have never had them say "no". Except when my account is totally banned. But the locks they put on for suspicious activity can always be lifted by emailing them. It usually only takes a day or two as well, which is cool. I've had them answer the same day before and unlock my act. Good luck. We should become twatter friends (if ur down). I like following people from Voat on there
