I'd just like to add that after 22 months it just costs the farmers money to keep them around. The business model is to have them gone to the feed lots by then.

"Ranchers", "Farmers" - wear suits now. They'll bulldoze and put up tract homes and condos if there's money promised there. Then invest that in magic bean futures or something. Profit.

Yes! There has been a Serious Paradigm Shift in Farming and Ranching. It is BIG BUSINESS/Corporate, now. Not family business.
