Preposterous. Your kidneys retain essential electrolytes unless you drink gallons a day. I drink nothing but distilled since my days at sea (business, not military). Blood tests reveal no shortage of any nutrient or vitamin.

Water serves the purpose of a solvent in your body. Which is a better solvent? Distilled water (like you'd find in pools of rainwater)? Or hard water (which has had its solvent capabilities blunted by the adsorption of inorganic, and therefore unusable to the human body, minerals)?
