Below was a post from a group I'm in. What is the impact on food supply short and long term due to this extended shutdown and govt regulation? I've seen many stories of dairy farmers dumping milk into fields that is going sour. Meat plants are being shut down left and right. The entire YUUUUGE food distribution chain shutdown that supplies restaurants and hotels etc.... They cannot convert a lot of that food over to "retail" packaging fast enough for grocery stores.
FYI, I buy high quality beef and pork direct from local farmers, better and cheaper. We are going to see a huge increase in demand for local commerce like that.
Does anyone worry about what "they" are doing to our food supply? We own a small family dairy farm. We got a letter in the mail at the beginning of this telling us to be prepared to dump our milk. They said we should cut back on production by culling some cows, drying some up early and cutting back their feed so they wouldn't produce as much. Local farmers have been dumping millions and millions of gallons of milk. The milk price is almost the lowest we've seen it...it had been looking good for this year, after many years of low prices.
The same is happening in the egg industry, and also the beef industry, and vegetables- piles of rotting veggies in the fields, smashing eggs.... It's criminal!
But, the crazy part is that the stores are limiting what can be purchased, and the prices are jacked way up.
My theory is that they are trying to feed the panic by creating the illusion that there is a food shortage.
All the talking heads say that this is bc the restaurants and schools are closed, so the demand is way less. BUT people didn't stop eating- if anything they're eating more {dairy products} than ever (comfort food/home cooking). Part of my theory is that they need to get rid of small farms like ours bc we can supply local people with food. A large factory farm is much easier to control, and when they control the food supply they control the people. Something just doesn't add up.

Farmfag anon here as well. I think we are witnessing an economic civil war waged by the left against Trump country. They are purposefully trying to keep their thumb on small business and family farms to force them out of business. If enough small businesses in a certain industry shutdown that void will be filled with a large corporation. A good example is dairy farming. You shut down enough of them and then the big dairy gold type companies then control America's dairy products. How long until the green new deal is forced down you throat and you have no alternative? Look at the businesses that are deemed nonessential but they sell the same or similar items as Wal-Mart. They are trying to force those businesses out so you only have 1 place to buy those goods. What happens when Walmart them makes a rule saying you can't come in to shop unless you get the new cov19 vaccine? Its economic Civil War, thats why Trump told everyone some states need to be liberated. If you haven't already, better arm yourself.

You guys are correct. (((They))) control all the corporations, and if they can shut you down, then they own the whole food chain. They are working hard to takeover the health chain. If (((they))) control both, we're as screwed as it gets.

If you look at the big picture, you see they can't rid America of the Constitution, so they are using Big Corporations to gain control of all industries, and then they can control everyone by controlling who can and can't perform commerce in their web of controlled businesses. In essence, if you don't accept to join their "societal framework" (social credit score, chip implant, new currency, etc.) then you can't do business with them. There is nothing unconstitutional about that, just as I can open a business and say all of my customers must use my App. Today, they would just say FU and go to another business. But in the future, when only Big Corps control everything essential, you will have no choice but to use their "App" or "System". That's why it is in their interest to destroy or acquire small and medium businesses, and why we should always try to support our local businesses with our $$$ when possible, and avoid supporting these large behemoth type corps.

100%. I think it's going to get worse before it gets better. Thinking up until the 2020 election for sure. I mean we're in the fifth of our lives here, BIGGER than world war 1 & 2 combined.

Our local dairy farmers have had to increase production to meet demand, yet I keep reading articles on the national level claiming that dairy farmers are tossing perfectly good milk due to a surplus.
Make of that what you will....
Are farmers being forced to increase their production only to throw their products to waste? In other words, being punked with fake calls for demand?
Interesting times.....

But POTUS needs to actually be the one that provides the leadership to deal with these incursions on our liberties taking place under corrupt governors and state legislatures
Doing protest isn't going to cause anything to change - Virginians mobilized to protest to their govt., but in the end it was all ignored by their state govt
And anything that goes beyond civil protest, then the executive branch needs to provide the leadership so that it's lawful
We all remember what the Deep State did to the militia organizations back under the Clinton administration
